Daytime Care

Do you work long hours, have an evening engagement, or have a new puppy that needs some extra time? Here at Animal Instincts we pride ourselves at giving your pet the best care while you are away from home. If you are anything like we are, your dog is part of the family and you only accept the best for his well being. Being force-free trainers, all activities focus on rewarding your dog for positive behaviour.

Pet Visits $20/Visit

Are you going on vacation, working long hours, or have a new puppy that needs some playtime during the day? Animal Instincts offers 45 minute visits where we provide care for your pet in the comfort of their own home. During this time we will play some mental activities with your dog as well as work on some basic obedience. These visits can also include feeding, playtime, clean up, or a short walk. This service will keep your pet satisfied until either you get home, or we return later that day or evening.

Dog Walking $20/Walk

Does your dog have energy to spare but doesn’t really like going to daycare? We offer a dog walking service where we come to your house and take your dog out for a 45 minute exercise session. On every walk we work on focus exercises and basic obedience games so your dog is not only tired physically, but mentally too!

BONUS: Does your dog need to work on their leash manners? For an extra $5/ walk we can work with your dog so taking them out becomes a fun activity for you to enjoy together. After the walk we will leave a report card on how they did, what progress they have made, and what exercises you should continue to work on.

Day Training $30/Visit

Is your dog not quite getting the training that they need to grow into the dog you want them to be? Look no further! Animal Instincts offers day training where your dog doesn’t even have to leave the comfort of their own home. Mental stimulation is just as important as physical exercise for any dog, so day training may be just what the vet ordered! This service is a great way to work on problem behaviors such as jumping, stay, recall, barking at the door, and more! At the end of each session you will receive a report card on how they did, what progress they have made, and what exercises you should continue to work on.

  1. I would like some help, either at home through private training or day training. She jumps, barks, food aggressive, relieves herself indoors (sometimes), and I believe she is this way (some of it being 6 months old) because we work all day and she is in her kennel (I go home for lunch to let her out to use washroom and play). Kids get home after school and play with her after 3:30 and in during summer (when someone is home).
